The Ubuntu Summit is Calling!
London is calling and here in Portugal, we’re listening!
The Ubuntu-pt Local Community Team, in collaboration with Ubuntu and the Canonical Community Team, is organizing the official extension of the Ubuntu Summit 25.10 in Portugal!
Of course, this had to be October’s event at Centro Linux, and given the opportunity, it will also be the October event for ECTL - Porto.
This time, we’re shaking up the usual agenda and setting aside an entire weekend, October 25th and 26th.
To create a dynamic, interactive experience between Lisbon and Porto, we’ll connect both event hubs via video call, with scheduled interactive sessions and spontaneous exchanges between the two locations.
We’ll be at MILL - Makers In Little Lisbon, and at LCD Porto - Laboratório de Criação Digital, following the livestream from the Ubuntu Summit, and sharing our thoughts.
We’ll also be trying out the new Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka, and helping anyone who wants to come learn, experiment, and/or install Ubuntu.
There will be plenty of social time for all participants too.
Lisbon
If you’re in Lisbon, near Lisbon, or want to come to Lisbon to take part in the event, please register for free on the MILL website (just so we can plan and manage the space accordingly).
The activities will take place at Centro Linux, located within Makers In Little Lisbon - MILL, in Lisbon, very close to Campo dos Mártires da Pátria.
